Murska Sobota is the largest city of Pomurje region and the northernmost city of Slovenia. The town with a beautiful Renaissance castle and a museum is the home of proverbially friendly people and their distinct dialect. The town where the Catholic and Evangelical Church coexist side by side takes great pride in its notable artists. The extensive culinary fare wouldn’t be complete without the traditional dishes like bujta repa (sour turnip hot pot), Prekmurje ham and bograč.
