Velika (Koroška) Baba (eng. Great Carinthia Baba) is 2127 m high mountain in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, it is a border mountain above the Ravenska Kočna valley (Slovenia) and above the Bela valley – Belska Kočna (Austria). The mountain offers a beautiful view of the northern walls of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. A particularly beautiful view is to Kočna, Grintovec, Dolgi Hrbet, Skuta and Rinka.
We may reach the Velka Baba from Logar Valley (Rinka Waterfall) or from Ravenska Kočna. All trails are difficult and appropriately marked. The ascent to the mountain is suitable for better prepared hikers and mountaineers.
