In the Northeast part of Slovenia on POHORJE close to Maribor (18km) and Ptuj (25km) in the village Planica nad Framom (700m oversea level) you will find our farm Štern “Pri Kovacniku”. We're only 12km away from the biggest skicenter in Slovenia MARIBORSKO POHORJE. |

| Today there are two generations on the farm: mother Angelca with father Janez and their son Danilo with his wife Barbara and their son Aljaž. All members of the family work on the farmyard. Besides stacionary and hiking tourism our main activity is stock-farming, agriculture and forestry. The whole farm contains 36 hektars of land. |

For 23 years the farm Štern, “Pri Kovacniku” welcomes stacionary guests as well as passers by and hikers up to 60 persons. In the old farm room with a baker's oven we serve traditional Pohorje meals on the recepies of our ancestors.

| We cook every weekend for transitional guests, on previous agreement also prepare meals during the week. However we recomend a previous reservation.
The smell of traditional Pohorje meals comes out of our kitchen and the aroma of fresh backen bread out of our backer's oven. We also offer special menues for vegetarians and people with special diets. |

Our farmhouse is in the country side and there are a lot of green meddows and Pohorje forests around us. You can go hiking and cycling or you can just take a pleasant walk to find some herbs. In summer when it is hot you can have a refreshing rest and recreation in TERME MARIBOR and TERME PTUJ |

In our house we can offer you some nice cosy and comfortable furnished rooms with two or four beds. Each room has its own toilet and bathroom.
There is also a large living room where you and your children can spend your time watching TV or reading books and magazines, playing games or enyoing other group activities. |
