Thermal water is the basis of resort tourism in our country. In 1965, not far from the small village of Petisovci, instead of oil thermal water "came out" of the drill-hole. The local people soon found that bathing in such water is very pleasant.

The results of the scientific analyses show that this is a special type of thermal water included in the group of fossil oil waters. It is sodium - hydrogen - carbonative mineral hiperthermal water with a temperature of 620 C at its source. It has a high proportion of parafin, which is why it differs from other thermal waters.
Our thermal water is very convenient for treatments of rheumatic illnesses, degenerative and extra-articular rheumatism, post injury conditions and for operations on the peripheral nervous system, after - burn scars with higher functional disturbances, and for gynaecological disorders. It´s suitable for the prevention of all the above-mentioned illnesses. Our guests say that this thermal water has useful effects on problematic skin (it eases skin problems) and creates a general sense of well - being.

The health - resort is a part of the wide range of services relating to health in the field of fhysical therapies and resort medical treatments. We offer electrotherapies, under - water massages, galvanic baths, hand - massages, parafin compresses, paraphanga, herbal compresses, medical gym and hydrogym.

These resort treatments are carried out under the direction of a physiotherapy specialist.
Hotel Lipa*** has 209 beds in single or double rooms, and in apartments (120 rooms altogether). Each room has got its own bathroom (a shower and WC), telephone and TV.
The hotel also offers a restaurant, a cafe, a tavern with a terrace, a conference hall, a solarium, a hairdresser and a beauty salon.

There are also two swimming pools - one indoor, both with thermal water. The water in the pools is 34 - 360 C and they are both open throught out the year. Besides bathing, a sauna and fitness studio are available, too.
The entire resort catering and recreation facilities are in one building, which is very convenient for our guests. |
