The hotel settlement Simonov zaliv in Izola is located in the middle of the sumptuous mediterranean greenery in intact piece of Slovenian coast, in place, where once the ancient Roman port of Haliaetum lay.
Even today, when a strong ebb-tide appears, one can still admire the jetty remnants with mosaics hiding under the sea level.

The hotel settlement has everything that is needed for a
pleasant stay in any given season and meets the expectations of everyone. In the settlement there are various accommodation possibilities: the hotel Haliaetum, the depandances Palma, Korala, Perla, Mirta, Sirena and the summer houses Park. Altogether, there are 200 rooms in the complex.

Sport fans will have the opportunity to choose among several sport and recreational possibilities: sand tennis courts, mini golf, beach volley grounds, all located directly on or near the beach. Borrowing smaller vessels is also possible. With a bicycle, the Marina of Izola is only a few minutes away.

Thank to the gentle slope of the entrance into the sea and the natural shade of the acacia small forest, families with children will feel particularly good on the beach. Children will not be bored, as they will be able to play on the sand playground, jump on the trampoline, or enjoy sliding down the big water toboggan again and again. Attentive and creative entertainers will drive away the boredom with funny games in the summer club for children "Mini Izola".

The elder will enjoy taking long walks in the nicely arranged park or strolling along the seaside all the way to the port. The rewarding sea micro climate, along with sea swimming in the summer and swimming in the indoor swimming pool with heated sea water during the winter period, will provide for the overall well-being. For the recreational purposes, each morning, a gymnastic workout is being organized in the indoor swimming pool. Round trips with boat or bus to the nearby places are also interesting.

| Young people will most probably visit concerts which we organize during the summer period at the hotel beach or amuse themselves in the nearby night club late into the night. During the summer holidays, they will be able to participate to some interesting summer events in Izola.
However, Izola, one of the smallest towns in Slovenia, binds everyone, who takes the trip through its stony lanes in the old part of town and gazes at its picturesque sights. A close bond with sea can also be seen and felt at each corner. No wonder, because Izola, today a well-known resort, was once a genuine island, which is stated in its name forever.
